Union County is proud of its high-quality school system. Students progress through separate elementary, middle, and high school segments. The schools are modern, well equipped and well maintained. School curriculum includes both the basics and new areas of study, such as computer and other sciences.
The school system also provides an excellent vocational training program. In addition, the University of Florida and Santa Fe Community College are located nearby in Gainesville, and Lake City Community College is only a short drive away.
