          With unique cooperative efforts among the City, Union County and the Schools, we serve our residents in a cost effective manner. Further our partnership with the State Department of Corrections affords us the opportunity to use inmate labor, saving the taxpayers thousands of dollars per year.

        We encourage you to visit Lake Butler. We enjoy the best of both worlds – small town living with reasonable housing prices for Florida. We are but a thirty minute drive to Gainesville or an hour drive to Jacksonville.
